The Bundesliga Barometer 2019/2020 - FC Bayern again secures first place in Germany's most important Bundesliga customer satisfaction survey

For the 13th time, Sport Bild published the Bundesliga Barometer by Prof. Dr. Madeja from Nuremberg. The results are presented again this year presented by TÜV Rheinland. The fans awarded in eight main categories and 21 individual criteria for the quality of service and satisfaction of their own club. own club. The Bundesliga barometer therefore offers Bundesliga clubs unique insights into their most important target group - the fans.

On the 33rd and 34th matchday of the 19/20 Bundesliga season, 5,265 fans were surveyed about their satisfaction with their club. The survey took place for the first time only online, because due to the ghost games could not be interviewed as usual in front of the stadiums. The participants were already before the Corona crisis in the stadium of their club and could therefore, for example, also evaluate the infrastructure and atmosphere well.

Scores 1 (very good) - 6 (unsatisfactory) were awarded in the following eight main categories: Ticketing, traffic, stadium, gastronomy, event character, club, merchandising and image of the club. The survey, developed by Prof. Dr. Alfons Madeja (Managing Director of SLC Management), represents an important status quo analysis for Bundesliga clubs on customer satisfaction in benchmarking with competitors. The Bundesliga Barometer thus serves as a valuable source of data and analysis for the clubs, showing how satisfied their own fans are with the club's service quality and infrastructure management, or in which areas there is a need to catch up or optimize.

In addition to winning the championship and the cup, FC Bayern Munich also secured victory in the rankings with an overall score of 1.96. In addition, the gap increased to Borussia Dortmund, who landed in second place with a score of 2.05. The surprise of the season came from promoted team Union Berlin. In their debut season, they came in 5th place with a score of 2.11. FC Schalke falls to last place with the worst second half of the season in the club's history (2.65). In the first major survey in 2007, FC Schalke 04 was still in first place in the Bundesliga Barometer.
